Team Inspection of Modular Data Center

Our team visited Chapek's first modular data center, which is being built in a hall outside Prague, to inspect the rack installation before the servers go in.

The container is past the shell stage. The server racks now stand in a row inside it, the cooling wall is fitted along one long side and work on the cabling is under way. Before anything else goes in, we wanted to see it in person.

What we checked

We walked the rack row and the aisles and went through the cooling side of the container. The first container is air-cooled: along one long side runs a wall of fans that moves air through the room where the servers will sit.

What comes next

With the racks in place, the hardware is next: the GPU servers and the management servers go into the racks. Networking, cabling and testing follow, so that everything is checked before the first customers come on board. Onboarding starts in December 2026.
